Christian Pulisic and Chukwueze scored to help Rossoneri come from behind. They beat the English Premier League side 2-1 at St James’ Park. However, the winning was not enough to go through, but Europa League football is now open, with the playoff draw up next.

Champions League result: AC Milan came from behind to beat Newcastle.

Group F was dubbed as Group of Death, and it was cinematic!

A win would not save Stefano Poli’s side’s fate from a fallout in the most prominent European stage. Still, it would help them remain in the second-best choice – the UEFA Europa League.

Thanks to second-half goals from new boys Chukwueze and Pulisic, Milan turned around from Joelinton’s opener for the host and dominated the tough clash.

Milan did their best and hoped for the best, which never came, eventually!

Dortmund and PSG shook hands to join the Round of 16

The 1-1 draw between Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain – which saw both teams progress – made qualification to the Round of 16 impossible. The Rossoneri finished level on eight points with PSG but with a negative goal difference in the head-to-head. The Rossoneri finished third in a rock-hard group.
