AC Milan was beaten by Serie C side Trento by a second-half goal in the friendly at Milanello, in a game that coach Stefano Pioli fielded a rotated line-up.

A mix of new signings and Primavera players were named in the starting XI against Trento, opposite to the team that played in the Silvio Berlusconi Trophy against Monza.

Stefano Pioli played a 4-3-3, with Yunus Musah, Yacine Adli, Tommaso Pobega in midfield, Samuel Chukwueze, Lorenzo Colombo, and Luka Romero in attack. Trento ended up winning the match, with Leon Šipoš scoring the match’s only goal in 66′.

Milan have now failed to keep a clean-up in every pre-season game so far. The next game is on Saturday against Étoile Sportive du Sahel at Milanello and another Sunday match against Novara.
