The Serie A club said that the operation was successful and that he will begin rehabilitation immediately.
However, Milan did not disclose a timeline for the England international’s recovery.

Life in Milan
Walker joined Milan on loan from Manchester City back in January.
The Italian club has the option to make his move permanent.
Since then, the 34-year-old has played in 12 games across all competitions.

It has been a rough Serie A season so far, with Milan sitting ninth in the table, but they’re still in the Coppa Italia contention.
They will take on rivals Inter in the second leg of the semifinal on April 23, after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
