Bologna 1-1 AC Milan – Highlights

Stefano Pioli made up to ten changes to the side that had put one step to the Champions League semif-final after beating Napoli in midweek.

However, the thought-to-be-easy game turned out to be more troublesome for the reigning league champions.

Sansone got in front of Kalulu and slotted home from close range as he scored to put Milan behind after just a few seconds, with neither Ballo-Touré nor Rebić could stop Stefan Posch to assist from right flank.

Milan had some complaints to make during the opening goal as it looked like Ballo-Toure had been pulled down.

Fode Ballo-Toure was pulled back in the build-up to the opening Nicola Sansone goal but it was still accepted as a legit one for the home.

More drama was added as Ante Rebic was clearly stamped on inside the Bologna box by Adama Soumaoro, yet neither a spot kick nor a VAR check were executed.

In the final minutes, the ball struck Jhon Lucumi on an, safe to say, unnaturally out-stretched arm, but the referee and VAR judged it to be involuntary because it hit another part of his body first.
