2022-23 Italian Serie A week 12 preview: Torino vs AC Milan

AC Milan take a trip to Piedmont to face Torino FC in this weekend’s Italian Serie A action.

Both squads were victorious in their respective domestic assignments last week. ACM blasted Monza, 4-1, while Torino won against Udinese, 2-1.

I Rossoneri have been busier though, as they had a UEFA Champions League fixture to attend to midweek. They prevailed against Dinamo Zagreb, 4-0.

Milan are currently second on the table, three points behind Napoli. Meanwhile, Toro are at tenth with 14 points.

In their last five encounters against each other, Milan came out on top four times. This includes a Coppa Italia result that they won via shootout. The most recent one ended in a scoreless draw.

These were low-scoring affairs, with at most two total goals scored. Although there is an outlier where AC Milan tore down Il Toro, 7-0.

What to expect in AC Milan vs Torino Serie A match

AC Milan have been on a tear as of late. They are most likely not dropping any points this weekend, but it is hard to see them notch four goals for a third straight match, especially against an opponent that has sturdy defense.

The visitors have a lot of things going in their favor. However, Torino FC do not have many weaknesses either.
